ASAP -Rock Paper Scissors Splits!

ASAP (As Soon As Possible)- Rock Paper Scissors Splits was the warm up activity for the third through eighth graders this week.
ASAP - Tunnel Tag was the warm up activity for the Kindergartners through second graders.
Roots Day - Cedars students took on the task of measuring and painting a four-square court on the playground for Roots Day this week. They also helped create MRA rules that the rest of the school will use for this game at recess time.
PE Class- The Kindergarten through second graders continued to practice the MRA rules for soccer games at recess time.
The third through eighth graders participated in circuits that involved upper body, lower body and cardiovascular exercises. They will be setting exercise goals for themselves and working on increasing their strength throughout the year.
Health Class - The seventh and eighth graders are continuing to look at the importance of using self-control with different emotions. The students brainstormed a variety of emotions and created "Emoji" emotions and various healthy strategies to deal with these feelings.
