MRA students and parents participated in the Heart Hop 5K Run last Thursday! The rain didn't stop us from having fun and exercising together.
PE CLASS
Kindergarten: The Kindergarteners are working hard to perfect their Buddy Dance and Ribbon Dance during PE class for the spring performance.
1st - 6th Graders: These classes are practicing for the musical performance during their PE class. When they finish practicing, they go outside for fresh air and exercise to the playground.
7th - 8th Graders: The Cedars students have been doing a variety of exercises for the first 15 minutes of class. They have participated in a variety of team building games.
ART CLASS
The Huckleberry students finished a series of art classes by experimenting with the elements of art by using a variety of lines, shapes and colors to create abstract art inspired by the artist Wassily Kandinsky. They listened to Piano Concerto No. 23 by the composer Mozart while they worked. Their artwork is displayed in the hallway of the gym and in their classrooms.
MRA EVENTS
*The next 5K Run will be called the Raindrop Romp and held on Thursday, April 25th.
*The students have been working very hard to prepare for their Spring Program this Friday. It will be a fantastic performance!
