Student-Led Conference Week

Kindergarten - Second Grade: The Trillium and Huckleberry classes practiced their teamwork skills as they participated in parachute activities this week.

Third- Fourth Grade: Clarkia had the opportunity of practicing their teamwork skills with the parachute activities in a variety of games.

Fifth - Sixth Grade Students: The Alder classes played "Rock Paper Scissors Splits" as their A.S.A.P. (As Soon As Possible) activity. They worked with the parachute and played the classic game of "Steal the Bacon." We played a different version by using the MRA Chicken in our games!

Seventh - Eighth Grade Students: The Cedars played "Rock Paper Scissors Splits" as their A.S.A.P. game. For one of their exercises, they did curl-ups with partners. They also played a variety of games, and "Steal the Chicken" was one of them.

Cedar Health Class: The Cedars are practicing how to read and interpret Nutrition Food Labels, identify healthful weight strategies, and reviewing how calories fuel the body. They compared food labels with their partners and examined the ingredients of many food products.
