The MRA students are training in PE class for our Jog-a-thon next Friday! Please join your child's class as we run as a school to raise money for our Play Space. Check with your child's teacher to see the time that they are running. We look forward to earning money for our school and having fun at the same time.
ASAP - The students have been practicing how to "pace" themselves as they jogged around a track in the gym. They'll be practicing their jogging skills outside on the track to prepare for the Jog-a-thon Event.
K-2nd Graders - The students finished up participating in activities that helped them work in group situations.
3rd-8th Graders - The students participated in a variety of cooperative games and then took an assessment of themselves to see how well they cooperated with others. "Cross the Pond" and "Log Jam" are two of the activities that incorporated the skills of cooperation, encouragement, trust, and teamwork.
7th/8th Grade Health Class - The students are learning how to set and achieve personal goals as an important skills to have throughout their lives. They are learning about making short and long term goals and how they help make decisions and motivate to accomplish things that you want out of life.
